Loss of Identity
Jack and all of the other hunters start to lose their identity, there is evidence in the title that would suggest the loss of identity as well. Their hair is growing longer, and they have even painted their faces to be camouflaged. They are changing completely to the point where you don't know who they are anymore they look different and act different.
Loss of innocence
Jack is losing innocence as well as the hunters...they are changing..but for the worse, the more and more they loose their identity and the more they hunt...the more obsessed they become with the thought of killing...it's more like that with Jack though, Jack is so obsessed that the thought of killing drives him even further away from sanity. Roger is turning more insane as well, the more he realizes that there is no one around to stop him from doing nasty and cruel things the more he starts to do them...now that he realizes, he's starting to pick on the littluns...in the book it says he throws rocks near the littluns and is breaking their sand castles.
Loss of power
I think Ralph is losing a little bit of his power now...no one wants to listen to him and no one is doing anything....the hunters let the fire go out..which could have gotten them off of the island, no one cares what he says and he is the only sane person doing things to try and get them off of the island.
